And look up parker yamaha for OEM parts they are usually pretty good at having things in stock and shipping quickly.
I usually buy my OEM parts at my local dealer. I get them 10% above...
Well the ski is legit. It has been sitting in the showroom at the company Cold Fusion for the last 11 years. But I was thinking about the seals also. Will performing a compression check tell me if there is a bad seal? Will it damage the ski to do a compression check if it has never had and...
There are some good threads on this board on how to make hood straps. Same thing kinda happened to me but with my handle pole. I broke my pole, but had the limiting rope sitting in my garage, I was just too lazy to put it on. Oh well.
How much would you pay for a brand new FX-1. It is a 1995 that has never even had gasoline put in it. It is only like 10 miles away from me. what do you think? He has it listed for $5000, but that is way out of the question. NADA is about $1800 high retail, but that is for a used one. I was...
I am getting my carbs rebuilt and they are going to get dipped. First, are there any disadvantages to dipping the carbs? Are there are parts that are not changeable that could be damaged? Second, what kind of paint should I use to repaint them after the rebuild is done? Thanks
So took off the carbs. Opened up the regulator side. Cleaned it out. The diagphram was pretty worn out, but I put it back together. Then pulled off the fuel pump on the rear carb. I could see the water stuck behind the diagphram. So My buddy that works at a local shop hooked me up with a...
Well I have said bingo before and lost my tunning. I am horrible at tunning and try to avoid it at any cost. I want to go riding this weekend. But it looks like I might be do the whole deal. My buddy that works at a dealer said he'll give me some extra diaphragms, but I hope the dealer has...
K, I just watch the SBT carb cleaning video. It looks like a little too much work. I don't want to pull out my mixture screws. i don't want to loose my tunning. Can I just pull the diaphrams out and change them, and not go an further than that video does?
So for the first time I ran out of gas completly on my SXR on saturday morning. I had to get towed back in. Sunday morning geared up, rode out of the harbor, and when I was able to ride fast I noticed the ski was running like crap. So I went back to the ramp and pulled my plugs. The front...
That would definatly be very tight. Just let me know when you guys are coming up. My buddy (bluegtate on the boards) and I were thinking about trying to make it down there one weekend. We'll have to talk about it some more. Where are you guys riding this weekend?
I sent out my envelope like 2 weeks ago. How long did it take everyone else to get theirs? I know for sure I addressed mine correctly. Did X-H20 run out?
Haha, I have that exact same rack on the exact same trailer. The rusted one that is. I repainted the trailer 2 years ago, so mine looks a little better than that.
Hmmm, I have a 550 that did that a last summer. I thought it was either the pistons seized or the pump wear ring was so constricted it wouldn't start. Now that I think of it it is probably the same starter problem. I need to dig it out and see if i can fix it.
