It sounds like the accell pump is not working,here is how you check that,take off the airbox and find the spray nozzle for the pump with your finger,now put your finger under the spray nozzle and pull the throttle,does it spray out and wet your finger,if not part or parts of the accell pump...

I'll put my two cents in,when I worked at the Seadoo stealership an 85 y/o man came in one day,he had a 550 Jet ski on a trailer that he wanted to trade in on a Seadoo,I figure if that old man can still ride at 85 that I have a few good years left in me.

It is not always an air leak,anything that obstructs fuel flow can also cause the runaway condition you describe,I had a Seadoo pull this on me the other day,cause was a kinked fuel supply line to the carb,carbs,filters,fuel valve and pickup were clean as a pin and oh yeah ,no air leak.
