I'm not sure how to answer question on how to verify if you have the proper pump alignment, but I do know that my 97' i bought recently had writing near those two bolts that said how much each side was shimmed. Maybe yours has that also?

I have a SXI PRO / SXR ride plate. I know that there is a difference between the SXI/SX plates and the plate I have but, but can the plate I have be modified to fit on a SX/SXI? I won't be able to get my hands on the SX for another couple days to do some measuring myself, but I want to know...

How much do you think the following would be worth a) 2003 800 SXR hull stripped of everything except for styrofoam b) 2003 SXR engine w/ intake manifold, exhaust, and drive coupler. Minus everthing else. Engine has good commpresion.
