If you have the balls, you can flip a stock SXR off big enough surf, but it takes a good setup (and big nuts) to do flat water flips or setup wake flips... SWEET VID BTW!

I had one on my 750sx, it hit nicely with the ECWI. I would recommend it, and it was noticeable.

My 750sx powered Q8 is really fun in the surf - I've slammed it down a few dozen different ways, and she's still holding up fine. I'm in Phoenix now, so the trip to Oceanside is a bit of a drive though.

Just a random thought I had, but if you are cutting the tray, why not get a 750 pump shoe and do a 750 pump? Then you could always upgrade to a readily available Skat or Solas mag when you are ready. I don't think it would be much more difficult than the 650 pump swap.

I used to pack it up when the lake froze completely across, until I found the surf, and now I never pack it up!

Love that emblem! I'd like to get that silk screened onto my JP tourcoat, but my ski's only running a 750.

I love my JP Tour coat. It's roomy enough that it never seems to get in the way. That extra layer is nice to have in the fall... then time to break out the drysuit for winter riding!
