This is not exactly like the Rickter mod but its similar and yes it works,the nose on this ski pops up nicely even with the weight distribution being much farther forward.

You sure about that Matt, they are called resistor plugs because they have a resistor built into the plug,most stock spark plug caps also have a resistor in them which on Yamahas especially goes bad over a period of time and makes the ski run like crap.

The things you see sticking out of the hubs are bearing buddies with yellow protection caps on them,I would leave them on.I will second the use of old rub rails on top of the bunks,it makes loading and unloading a snap and it doesn't scratch the bottom of the ski either.
I have them for $12.95 who wants to be the first to install a set and try them out,don't be shy now step on up :biggrin:
