I will get some pics up of the pieces,my thought was to get a muffler shop to bend the pieces up out of exhaust tubing,should be plenty strong and they could do perfect 90 degree bends with ease.

Someone really needs to start making those again.I am sure they were made for Kawasaki by some other company,there is not much to them and they break apart for transport.I scored two of the pieces that pick up the skis when I worked at the dealership so I have the hard part already made lol.

On DASA and Rotax engines it controls the widening and narrowing of the exhaust port,on Yamahas it destroys engines.

I had better luck with the WSM rebuild cranks than I ever did with the SBT stuff,I really hated when SBT bought out WSM's crank rebuilding program.They now have some other company in New York building their crankshafts for them though.

This is what I heard also weak webs and crap bearings,I cannot say for sure on the webs but I can say for sure they changed the bearings to cheaper units.

Probably not,what most peeps are doing on the SXR is taking the magnets out of the stock flywheel and using a timing advance plate,its not quite as light as a total loss setup but its very significant difference you can feel .

I have personally never had issues with the Hot Rods cranks but,they are going in bone stock couch motors,I wouldn't really want to build anything nice with one.

As far as I know Hot Rods was always Taiwanese,Wiseco just distributed Hot Rods cranks for Hot Rods for a while.

What I did was take a mold off the bottom of the Superjet handlepole,then I cut it in half and widened it,that will be top of the hood,then I am using the sides of the stock hood and the back piece,it shouldn't be too much trouble to duct tape it,foam it all together ,shape the foam,then glass...

You apparantly don't know me very well,the hull has been modified to accept a Waverunner III pump and midshaft,so I have the same size pump as a Superjet,I also have a 701 to go in it with a Pro -tec pipe.I still have to make the hood and install the engine.

Sorry too much work into the WR500 hull to start over now,You know what I do find it ironic that everyone here thinks the VXR stand up conversion is so cool,other than the larger pump not much difference between the vxr and Waverunner 500 hulls.To each his own I say.:kabong:
