No two part foam on the bottom only on top of the Dow foam I have always had the holds out or installing holds but you will be able to do it with them in no problem
If you are doing drains you will need access to the back of the ski, one side you can pull the exhaust pipe out on the other side you can go through the new scupper hole.

Yes it would be possible to refoam only the bottom I usually leave the foam just above the bond line anyways. Do you have a scupper? Now would be the time.

I did install drains and a channel system for water to escape and not sit in the foam I have done my ski like this and Katies ski. I also sealed the bond line inside and over the years still get water inside.

yes I have done it many times. I also replace the turf only on the holds when it gets ripped up. The turf on the sides of my tray is the original from 5 years ago I have a section that I rip out by the holds.
