whats so difficulat about tuning keihins? i have a keihin on the chicken and have never had a problem with tuning. see? thats a kawi 650 with a keihin. runs great... still no yami.

im sure it shredded their awesome 550s. as impressed as they were with a stock 650 and aluminum impeller, if you were to have let them ride a stock super jet 650 they wouldve crapped themselves. anyone that is 'impressed' with a 650 running an aluminum impeller obviously knows nothing about...

i install mine just like matt described. i use wd-40 on new couplers. it gets plenty oily just having 2 stroke oil around it while riding.

i have plenty of first-hand experience with both yami and kawi 650 engines and skis. when the kawis do finally decide to start, theyre running on the ragged edge try to just keep up with the smooth-running yami. i dont have yami blinders on either. ive owned kawis for almost a decade before...

you can put the rear seals in, after the midshaft is pressed through the housing, if necessary.

incorrect! either way, the yami 650 and 701 are the same, as are the sx and x2, bolt pattern-wise.

1/16" or 1/8"? those are very precise fractions your throwing at us. maybe you shouldve used super BNs since they have removable jets..... but then the following settings would be useless: 15/16 of a turn on the top 1 and 1/8 on the middle 1 and 5/16 on the bottom

...also, it doesnt look anywhere near as good as the top deck where there are no ribs. by grinding the ribs, yes, youre getting rid of the stock reinforcement. but, by properly reinforcing it with the correct materials and procedure, youll make it far stronger than stock. whatever strength...
