Hey Jaime that is sweet you are getting your parts! I should have most of mine shipped to me this week so my social life will be DEAD this weekend :Banane01:
I'm still not 100% sure I'll make it. The surgery went much better than last time I faceplanted :banghead:. Doc says I should be...
Same here. I was unsure due to that whole faceplant dibacle but my nose is healing up nicely (although slightly crooked) so surgery will be voluntary if I do it. The biggest question right now will be will my ski be ready?
What he said. I actually used 1.25 gal and 2yd biax in the SJ reinforcement gallery but admittedly am messy and a fair amount went to waste. There's another gallery at wavejunkies called Penelope Pitstop... where I am doing up my wife's ski. Doing the hood and behind the bulkhead in addition...
I guess not! It happened pretty quick. I had my mind set to hold on for dear life because the grips on this particular blaster were loose. I was like Wile E. Coyote by the time I realized my feet had slipped... :1244: So for anyone coming to this thread for advice, here's your lesson on...
Speaking of Blaster barrel rolls... I did my first today :biggreen:. Unfortunately the only cameras we had were back at the ramp so all the ones I got go something like this. If your feet are six feet above the handlebars when you land, does it still count as a br?? Yes I used the straps...
saki, nice vid :headbang: ! derm tried throwing three or four rolls on his b1 w/o straps and pretty much just flew off it although his ski completed two rolls... He hasn't "officially" tried since he got some straps.
Thanks for the tips. I definitely could buy stock in Magoo's
So epoxy and rivets then? It'll just suck IF I decide to paint the hull at some point. Pics would be great...
Same here. derm just filled up and tried riding his two sxi's earlier this week and neither would run. One ran for a minute and a half and the other wouldn't start. Ideas?
I can throw some ugly rolls. And I just picked up an old 96 that has never seen the surf before and it is cracked in that general area (wraps to the exhaust hole actually). That plus I was talking to BK today and it's got me thinking I better go ahead and do something...
romack...
Has anyone custom made these to protect their ski from partial rolls? Blowsion has one that does look pretty cool but I was thinking about laying up some spare c/k that matches my ski. Are these applied with just rivets or should I apply a little resin and deal with it never coming off again...
