    Skywalker's project X-Jet revamp

The rear exhausthose won't let water into the hull. The cooling line hoses could fall off, better get rid of those too :cool2:

    Anyone know this ebay seller???

Porting can lower your compression, but just because your gage reads lower doesn't mean you should run more compression because "185psi is safe". There's more to dome size selection than compression. Don't ask me what but 35cc seems to be a good number.

    Anyone know this ebay seller???

For a 701 on pump gas go with 35cc.

    Anyone know this ebay seller???

32cc is probably fine if you don't go WOT more than a few seconds... but definitely not safe.

    Confirmation of carb spring

You gotta be careful though because used gold ones can look dull silver. The best thing to do is always measure your popoff with a gage!

At least he didn't say the pipe adds 10mph :woot:

    Skywalker's project X-Jet revamp

They were towing it in with a boat when it sank (something about the hood was off and the line broke). I forget exactly, but the bottom line is he removed some tray foam to install a rear exhaust. With that foam in there it might have floated

    Confirmation of carb spring

It's for sure a 95g spring. It's reverse wound compared to the others.

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

Look at Rok's video, it was running poorly then and he over-rotated his first roll. After that he was doing them at half throttle too.

Did you just join this site to rip on a Waterdawg thread? You sound like Submarine  Hey I bet Malone could do two more backflips in a row than the guys in this video. What did I just prove? That I know how to sound like an idiot! :arms:

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

It's not that simple Mike. The time consuming part is actually making the parts. Jeff has hired a few helping hands, but they were not up to his standards. Sub, you know very well the story of that hood. Jeff offered to fix it and send it right back but Chris wanted to keep using it. I...

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

As usual, Mile9c1 had to work during the day and couldn't log onto this site till he got home :banghead: Nobody said it was a paid for ski. If it were a paid for ski, a lot more people would have ridden it. Hey did you catch on this thread where Paul said "I saw the boat first hand & met...

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

Everything that could wear out on the motor is not made by Jeff. I.E. you can buy the crank, pistons, rings, sleeves, gas valves from the mainstream aftermarket. Making custom pistons would just be silly! P.S. You have Charlie helping you!

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

The thing about Jeff is he's spent most of his time in this business doing R&D work, so he developed a habit of not sending out parts when people ordered them (sometimes really really late!) Good for innovation, bad for business. That's about it, it's nothing new and nothing he hides. For a...

    Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

Not true actually... you can't even do that anymore  Sub, welcome! 1. I'm sure the person who informed Ed of Jeff really told him the truth. Yep, I'm positive of it (actually I am being sarcastic here if you can't tell). Maybe Ed let Jeff hang there because Jeff is selling...

    Thumbs up to Waterdawg!

No, there's just one size - BIG. If you have small feet you'd have to tighten your fit with extra layers of turf.
