not necessarily true.
the couplers couldve been tight before a hard back-landing. then, bad motor mounts wouldve let the intermediate shaft push back without any damage to the bearing.
yup. sometimes you have to chase it around a few times and find where its stretched to allow it to naturally contract into the groove.
sometimes too much grease is bad because it fills up the groove and doesnt let the o-ring sit all the way in.
