Yup Art will offer tons of advice. Great guy to talk to. I'm piecing together all the parts to rebuild and engine with a cylinder ported by him and he has been so helpful thus far.

West marine premium oil... haven't had a problem yet for 5 years. I get it cheap when it is on sale... buy 2 gallons get one free.

there is no f'ing around when it comes to line leaking... you don't want gas in the engine compartment... there have been too many stories of fiery explosions inside the engine compartment for my liking.

Nothing stands up like OEM style fuel hose. I have tried different types, and they only last a season, if even that. Keep the stock fuel hose if you can, IMHO. This guy on ebay also has a product similar in quality to OEM...

hey, i know them two...

seems like that bottom pad is too large... you'd have to trim it down. seems like it would hit the tray walls in order to get it in a natural riding position... but that is just my opinion.
