I mod all footholds I run. Last pair I installed ended up wackin off like 3/4 of em off! I like to get em as far back as I can and I mod the gunwales to get the holds in a super wide stance. Last pair I did I put half enclosures. Just enough hold the toe and still be able to ride in surf stance...
