gas won't hurt the head any but if it is the right type of silicone the gas won't touch it either. Use a stainless toothbrush and brakekleen that way there will not be any residue left on the surface.

run a 550 e-box all you have to do is install the 650 regulator in the 550 box.

use the 550 or 400 elect's it is way cleaner all you do is swap the regulator for the 650 and it all fit's in the 550 style box. you will have to show some enthusiasm or don't attempt this swap lol

sound's like you might have a few problem's, but d-roc is right the 550 don't like to much fuel on startup. we start cranking before we squirt the primer that eliminates flooding one squirt is usually more than enough.

Well it hit the water for the first time lastnight had to do the saltwater but I am really happy with it for what it is that thing rock's I am not an experienced rider. It also sound's badazz gutted stock waterbox not at all to loud but has that braaapp sound
