so i decided to reinforce my hull with cf.... the problem is the inside is painted with black paint that feels weird(kinda rubbery) what is the best way to remove this paint and the best tool to remove the ribs... Let me know! also how much cf should i order to do this and what kind?

k awsome.. yea i already have the weldwood contact cement .. i did my chinpad myself it was the first thin i ever turfed and it came out amazing... so the rails should be cake
So im almost ready to turf my side rails... When you guys turf your side rails do you wrap it underneath and go all the way under to the opposite side of the rail. or just to the bottom and cut it...? if i had a pic of what im talking about id post it but my ski is at a friends house.,
So i got a used gas tank and inside is pretty dirty...... What can i use to soak inside to get this thing lookin good and ready for gas to be put in :-)
k well learned my first lesson. The contact cement is strong lol. I put it down and wanted to move it to the left 2 inches so i pulled up and all my foam pulled off my chinpad. So i started over again this time with no foam on the chinpad...
Well im at my apt. and bored so i decided to turf my chinpad on my porch. Im waiting 20 min right now for the contact cement to get ready...Ive never done this but i was thinking of doing it in 2 steps first doing the tops and sides with the cement then after thoughs are dry rolling the edges...
So i finally feel like i got something done today. I finished shaping the nose and sanding down the handle pole and hood. Then primered everything. I still have to go around and do some filler on some spots and then sand them down with 600, Then ill be ready for paint. I bought the color...
