got to take it for a spin today.... So light! and runs amazing. Great motor , Great hull.

Finished building the engine today and got the 650 voltage regulator installed in my 550 electrics with my custom stator wire cover :-)

it was a cheap meter from harbor freight it started up and sounds great i found it for 300$$ with lots of mods lol taking it out and putting it in our 550

what is the stock compression on a 650 kawi motor.... i tested it and both cylinders where exactly 120... sounds low to me.....

not sure on the hood yet we still have soooooo much fiberglass to do were saving that for last lol....

anyone have an extra ski ? :-)

Made some progress sorry for the lack of pictures but i have been busy with work ski's and help jetmaniac with daytona... Trays are flatdecked one way valves installed.. we put polystyrene foam in the tray so we had too add braces for the fiberglass incase anyone wonders why it looks like...

So a friend and i decided to do 2 flatdeck builds this winter. He has a 440 that we will be flat decking and putting a 650 also in it. I have a js550 hull that i will be flatdecking and putting a 650 conversion in it. On both ski's we will be "attempting" to flush mount the handlepoles and...

Im doing 2 flatdeck conversions on a 440 and 550 can i use 2lb density foam or should i get 4lb? whats the advantages ? is there any other foam i can use?

so no one has a picture of a flush mounted 440 pole bracket?

i just defoamed my 550 hull im going to flat deck. Whats the easiest way to get all the foam stuck to stuff in think layers to clean up the inside so i can seal everything off properly. Any solution other then like gas that deteriorates the foam... i dont wanna make napalm :-P

alright alright ill do a 650 in it! now someone lead me on to a good 650 out there i can buy... along with all the stuff i need to do the conversion :-)
