I used plastic wrap and I worked just fine. Some of the plastic did stick to the glass....but not too bad. Not sure what else might work....

I have used rope(for short trips)......I like ratchet straps the best though.

The have enough power for a beginner.......after a season or two you will want a bigger engine, so you might as well just get a 701 to start with. If all you can find is a 650 it will do you just fine to start.

I hit some nice potholes and never fliped mine.....It pulls fine at 70-75 mph too. It slid around (it was raining) real good on an off ramp in dayton oh once.....scared the ******** out me.....you should be fine....I think I have close to 7000 miles on mine .....all in the last 8 or 9 months.
