I removed the tamper caps myself, set the screws where I wanted them, and ran them fine all last season. I ended up having JSS put knobs on just in case I wanted to tune in the water and have yet to adjust them. They'd come in handy if you played with tuning a lot though. They are very tight...
What sanford said but i use bondo fiberglass resin jelly instead of glass/cabosil/resin but still glass behind it. Then glaze it with glazing compound. .....if you're talking old through-hull fitting spots and whatnot.
I really liked Vista's interface. But had a couple problems with hardware and software compatibility. XP seems to run more stable but that could be influenced by said issues :439: I say backup your data and upgrade when you get the disc. You don't have much to lose with a new computer :cool2:
I've ordered gatorgrip from CG Racing before. Worked good for me and held up all last season even on rails. I think HT is easier to work with and easier to have turn out nice though.
Yeah I seen them before too. The footage that is in the wavejunkies daytona vid is from a camera like that and seems to be choppier than nick's footage too. I remember a couple guys talking about trying out better SD cards to see if it'd help. Looking forward to the flipoff footage :cool2...
Yep. But not on the older ones. I haven't found a newer pump for less than a $100. I'm sure I'll figure out a way to close this one up but any suggestions? I have a newer exit nozzle off which I'll run a stock siphon. This boat won't need dual cooling any time soon.
Anyone taken any more video with one of these? Someone handed me footage in Daytona but I thought it turned out pretty bad. I'm looking for some more comparisons. Thanks
Thanks for the responses. I was hoping to just clean up the nick when I blueprint. I can't imagine it causing a noticeable loss in a limited setup, do you?
There is a slight nick in one of the veins or whatever they're called. Also the oil seal cover is off. The shaft does spin like what seems to be normal and I can't shake it back and forth.
Especially for sitdowns, spending the extra $$ for the 3m self-adhesive backing might be worth it. Then just remove your old mats, fill any holes, clean, sand, and apply.
