Hydroturf is the way to go. It's grappy and soft. I always get raw places form stitched.
If your gonna do something do it right esp on a job that big. Turfing isnt a rig up job. Take your time and do it right...take ya 2 days max

I pop the tnak loose, unhook chamber, loosen head pipe bolts a little for play, fit coupler on to chamber, and wiggle back in....nothign ever leaves the boat
