If you use a SN plate on a RN, you'll have the drill out the holes a little larger if I am not mistaken. Again if I am not mistaken, the SN uses M6 bolts while the RN uses M8 bolts

that is pretty much the reason whey I bought mine also. My gel coast has cracked also, including on one of the front corners where there was a huge air bubble under the gel coat. I just barely pushed my finger on it and it cracked open. no doubt the result of using a chopper gun.
I defiantly do not think the protec pipe will fit with the B-pipe liner.
My buddy bought a diablo hood with the dry liner, and he still had to modify it for his Factory Type 9
I agree. The only reason I ever use mine is when putting on and taking off the hood.
But the filled hand hold does look ugly. That was the only reason I pointed it out.
i'm sure that he is using more than just the engine and pump. there are tons of small various parts that he would need on a bare/brand new aftermarket hull.
yes you may be able to source all of those parts from various locations.
Buying a new hull gives you every single part, nut and bolt...
At my local home depot they had powder coated poles with the 4 bolt base plates already welded on. Don't remember the price though. They were in the fencing section.
