A large part of what you saw came down to equipment. Josh broke his trim cable so you didn't see his backflip or flair. Parr was on a borrowed ski, but is very capable of clean backflips given the right equipment. John had equipment failures and didn't even compete. I watched him in practice...

Is that a Wamilton's prepped hull or an actual Wamilton's hull? If it is an actual Wamilton's hull built in his shop, then it will be lighter and should hold up well for an average to mildly aggressive rider. There are a few guys that could destroy it in a weekend, but it would last many years...

I'll be there. My ski will be there. I qualify to compete. Not sure that I will though. I haven't ridden since before we moved. I might possibly get to ride this Sunday if all goes well tomorrow fixing a few things. I guess I'll make the decision then to see how rusty I am.

That's an interesting setup. I'll be interested to see how these turn out after some use in the field.

Not if they are made to fit right in the first place. I've installed thicker footholds before and as long as they are close then you can flex them a bit to get them 100% After installing both thick and thin holds, I can't say that one was harder than the other.

There isn't anywhere that I know of that rents standups. Cocoa Beach doesn't have a beach zone to ride. The nearest ride spots are either towards sebastian inlet or up to new smyrna. Neither of those places rent standups either. Just go and enjoy the beach scenery :cool2: Hang out in front...

Good to hear Bronson! Maybe I'll compete against you sometime towards the end of the season. Get ready.

X2 I used those footholds without doing much trimming up top and it rubs my legs raw above the ankle when doing any extended riding. It's all under the turf. It won't be a big deal to trim that back.
