its right around 35ish. the engine is spinning the concord that impros made for the stock-piped, single carb-ed 701 that was in there when it was a waterlogged 1200 lbs.
i need to send it back to him for adjusting for the more powerful and higher revving engine in a non-cracked...
wow! cool!
im wanting to illuminate the switch cluster and throttle / start/stop area on either side of the wheel. the tristart ball will mount right on the bezel under the wheel and point right at them. do you have 2 of the S0803-200R? if not, 2 of the S0803-2000?
thanks!
ive found that the fiberglass TDR reeds that they make for rental skis have been the most reliable. theyre a little thicker than typical reeds, therefore stiffer, but very long-lasting and retain their uniform straightness.
thats how they come in stock form. it comes with WRIII bars and stock finger throttle or a rectangular steering wheel with stock finger throttle.... both of which are highly gay.
heres a stocker pic... and a night shot from my angle..... i need more LEDs!:Eyecrazy:
thanks mick. it really gets up and goes now. no comparison to what it was before. itll probably have to miss daytona this year. i didnt put footholds in it yet.
just finished up the console. i added a marine temp gauge (plumbed inline with the pisser), a couple of accent lights, a choke (stock throttle lever under the wheel) and a REAL throttle controller. :woot:
...and an engine shot too....
girdled is stonger and supports the cylinders. i believe the only diff in price is the cost of the hardware kit. go girdled if you have an OEM cylinder.
maybe its not steep enough?
dave made my 10-16 for my bigbore. my 701 doesnt spin it out, but i wonder if itll spin when i put my bigbore in... :dunno:
you can blame yamaha for making machines that are capable of making such monumental raw power in which the kawis could never have a chance of making. :wavey:
i believe the connections would still be accessible going darin's route. even if theyre not and you need to get to them, its just 2 battery straps and two tank straps to be removed.
