    X-2 Racing

I don't believe you have much of a chance racing an x-2 against blasters. Back in 1992 and 93 I was racing x-2s. The blaster came out in 93 and totally dominated the new sport class. By the middle of the season I'd given up racing in that class pulled the 650 motor out of my x-2 and put it in...

    highsides suck

It's nothing special just a 1999 R6 with race fairings, aftermarket brake lines/pads, front springs, pipe and jet kit, and decent tires. I'm still amazed at the performance of modern street bikes. Until I become a better rider this bike is good enough for me. Here's a pic of it with stock...

Pics. Obviously at one point the bike must have been sliding on its nose.

    highsides suck

Well after 2+ weeks I finally manage to go pick up my bike at Smitty's house. This is the first time since crash day that I've gotten to see it. Doesn't look like it will be too expensive to fix. Need one engine side cover, a fairing stay, the left bar might be bent and a little bit of...

Lets see how good you guys are! (PWC Legends)

Doug Silverstien in the middle?? I've met Johnny Silverstien (JohnnyO's) years ago and this looks like it could be his brother. Too young to be Clayton Jacobson so how about Clayton's son. I really don't know except that I saw a pic of the back of that shirt. Cool shirt btw. Later Steve

Do what ever you have to do to get a good job. I don't think there is a career opertunity in jetskiing. Then work hard and play hard. Steve

    Ada Billet Cylinder?

yamasaki Look what you started with the "'poor man's strokers" question. Rod length, stroke length sounds like porn to me. Jetski porn:biggthumpup: If you really want a "'poor man's strokers" you should go buy a Playboy. For $5 you can stroke it all you want instead of $5000 for...

    Pro X / Wiseco Pistons

Pro-X or OEM in my motor. Nothing against Wiseco they are supposed to make a little more power but don't hold it as long as an OEM type piston. This just means that you need to re-ring or rebuild more often. I don't want to do that so I just run OEM or Pro-X. Smitty runs Wiseco. Later...

    A quick carb question...leaking venturi's

Just saw this today. I agree with Ramjet. You can also double up on the check valve that is on the back of the pie shaped piece (valve body assembly). In the Mikuni tuning manual http://www.mikuni.com/pdf/sbn_manual.pdf the check valve is #12 the valve body assembly is #39 in the...

    How cold before engine damage?

What king of skis. The cooling system in most stand-ups is self draining as long as you haven't changed the water line routing. I don't think most Seadoo motors are self draining meaning that the water in the block will freeze and crack the cylinders. Steve
