Advice for all you fresh water riders.
Make sure your electrically system is in tiptop shape.
By this I mean no half azz wiring jobs with sloppy connections.
Salt water conducts way better than fresh water and will short out your electrically system in a heart beat.
Nobody wants to drive...
Now I'm scared we might be neighbours. I'm Beachfront with GDFL.
2:biggthumpup: to Garrett for planning ahead and getting the room and then being kind enough to share.
I felt like I was sniping an ebay auciton when I saw his thread http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/11547

Glad someone could run down with you.
Also glad to see you hooked up with blaster800.
I felt bad since I was very close to saying I'd pick him up on the way. Then one of the local riders called me up saying he wanted to go so I had to tell blaster800 I didn't...

Ya Chuck seems like a good guy:biggthumpup: I met him up here at The Hot Hole for FSF.

Steve

If anybody feels the need while in Daytona to crash into another vehicle please pick someone elses. Thank you.
Steve
Sjetrider, I'm bringing the bike instead of a ski because my knee has just finished healing from this http://x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=8536 I think surf riding might just be a bit to much on my knee right now but there's no way I was missing this event.

Well it looks like I'm in :arms: add me to the list.
There is no way I was going to miss this event but sadly I'm not likely going to be doing any jetskiing. I'm just getting over my torn ligaments from my bike crash back in Oct and don't feel the need to risk a reinjury in the surf...
1. I think the fx1 was only produced for two years 94-95.
4. Skis were all getting bigger and easier to ride. The fx1 was small and hard to ride.
5. Strengths: small hull with the 701 made for a fast and light ski.
Weakness: narrow hull was harder to ride than the superjet and the small...
6200 seems low to me.
My 2mm stroker Kaw 750 would rev out to 7200-7400 with the FP LTD pipe.
Just my $.02 I think you giving up a bunch of power.
