thanks. so when i get new reed pedals they should close completly? no gap right? i am about to order four....

i thought they were fine becaus they weren't broken.... sorry im am used to the POS 550 PP

ohhh!!! i took the reeds out twice now and the pedals are slightly open. like one sixteenth of an inch. how bent is bent?? i can see they are open a little bit. it starts right up. just wont scream!

how do you know if the reeds are good or not????

carbs are rebuilt and the filters cleaned. still refuses to scream. need urgent help as ride season is slowing down!!

oh sweet! my 750 build has just started!! i took the chain saw to the front of the ski though.. i cut out the middle hump all the way back. its gonna be sexy. i need to start a build thread....

the hardener is MEKP and if acetone is a 4 this :-):-):-):-) is a 10! wear latex gloves!! and if you have a dry suit you can use it for sanding.. especialy carbon... oh and MEKP will cause cancer and if you get a drop of it in your eyes your done.

your best move would be to install foot straps or holds then just practice riding and read this site! cruise around craigs list on a daily basis and look for deals. they are out there... upgrade... you will be glad you did and if you play your cards right there is a profit to be made...:Banane09:

a lot of people will want your stock stuff now that it is build season. i have a chit load of 550 stuff laying around. round nose stuff is worth something to those people building their skis from the ground up... 550 stuff is pretty much free.....

just opened up the carb. i sprayed everything down with carb cleaner and made sure my needle and float were working. there was some blockage but it moved freely after a good lube. i am going to try it out now...

you havn't lived until you ride a 550...

i was lucky i guess. only about 2 1/2 gallons. but it still filled alot of the bilge and my engine up how would i fix this?

i have one for a js 550... if you want to buy it off of me..

i had some carb tuning issues first then i cleaned the carb filters and put the carbs back on i try to start it and fuel only squirts out of the high speed jet on one carb. i left the ski alone for a few days because of work. when i came back the whole damn engine up to the carbs airfilter and...
