    What Pete may be buying???

In all fairness to malone, people with skills and a similar body type and size to Malone seem to do well on it. Lee Stone can ride it pretty well. Both of those guys are probably 5'-8" and 150 lbs. The biggest thing I noticed when Pierre rode it was that the nose stayed pointed to the sky. I...

Going Jetskiing, what could possibly go wrong?

I think you meant to say: I forgot to check the torque on all the bolts before I left for Daytona. There are very few places to use loctite on a ski that is going to see salt water. Greased threads are your friend if you ever intend to take anything back apart after salt riding.

    Remember this ski??

That's my old ski. I bought it painted already, but I did most of the mod stuff. It was a really good surf ski when I had it.

    Custom/Hybrid Check This out!

The last pick showing the seat mounted to the hood scares me. The forces that the seat to hood joint will have to endure is rediculous. Props for the development of something new, but I'm gonna sit back and watch this one.

    air bladder to replace foam....

There is no way a bladder would work. Look at all the lines going through there that you couldn't possibly get around. It wouldn't fill any better than pingpong balls, probably less. Think about it, 2 cooling lines, steering tube, drive shaft tube, exhaust tube, scupper tube, footholds, sharp...

2009 Smith Lake Assault Part I

you saying that they re-opened that falling apart dirty dive bar down by the river at Triana? That place scares me. You can't stop at stop signs or you'll get hustled for a "dolla cuz I done ran out of gas."

    Daytona Carnage

I saw a dude with ice on his face trying to bring down the swelling on his lips that looked like a horrible lip injection celebrity. It looked painful.

    Trinity Composites Matrix Pro Hull

Since Bobby appears to have missed this one, I'll answer. I had the same question when I saw it. He said that it will definitely get pretty rounded back there. The lines elsewhere on the hull will get mildly rounded using thick coats of primer, but the rear gunwhales will get plenty of...

    Trinity Composites Matrix Pro Hull

I went by the shop yesterday to talk about my future ski and check out the plug. I'm not trying to be a Trinity cheerleader, but the pics don't do it justice. I told Bobby to take a better pic of the front since his picture makes it look a bit square. It's not. That's an optical illusion you...

    Delta IV Rocket Launch TONIGHT

Sorry for the late notice. If any of you not at Daytona want to call the people that are there, I'm sure they'd appreciate it. A Delta IV is scheduled to launch at 7:45pm tonight (wednesday) from a launch pad near the shuttle pads. Look south along the coast at 7:45. Sometimes AirForce...

Toasted front cylinder at the SecretSpot.(TEST RIDE COMPLETE,DAYTONA READY)

I think that's the lake that Pat and the x-metal crew typically ride on. You might want to drop him a line and ask.

HELP... Engine will not turn over

I know that I've said it before, but you can easily rebuild those little buttons. There's no need to buy a new one. Usually the little tiny spring inside the button rusts into nothing and there is general corrosion in there. Clean everything up and then replace the spring with a sliver cut...

Toasted front cylinder at the SecretSpot.(TEST RIDE COMPLETE,DAYTONA READY)

yeah. I had a pretty close call with one in the St. John's, but I only knew he was there after he became dis-interested and flopped as he swam away from about 5 feet. Florida grows some pretty healthy gators. Some of the FL crackers aren't scared of them, but I was always pretty nervous in...

The only gripe about the ride (not negative)

I borrowed someone's tote like that 2 years ago and it was the best thing ever. No picking up or winching. It's perfect for a relatively flat beach like Daytona

    Surf Conditions and Tide Level

small stuff can be a lot of fun too. You just won't see as many aerials and you'll see some more busted fiberglass from those that don't scale it back. I'll have fun either way. Just hope for more than 2 sec period

    Be courteous to everyone....

and let me add that it's going to be too busy to safely rip up and down the shore parallel to the beach. Keep your heads on a swivel and watch out for the other guy. DO NOT follow a wave in to shore. Not only are you taking that wave away from someone trying to hit it, but you can easily get...

    beach parking/rules

That should work. One of our crew left his registration paper in his seat in Alabama. They called AL to make sure it was really registered to him and he was good to go.
