What is the RPM limiter on the stock CDI you are using? You are probably hitting it. You need to get another enhancer or have the CDI modded. I am running 112.5 lows 1/2, and 132.5 highs 3/4.

Rip it out. Go with an aluminum Jet Dynamics shoe. I wouldn't bet on 5200 to hold inserts. Epoxy at least.

Freeride comps are not like Freestyle comps at all. And you don't just get scored for tricks. You also get scored for wave riding. Its more like a surfing comp than anything.
