Theres nothign wrong with going cheap, but cutting corners by putting your motor at risk when a better alt would be to mill your head that would provide more compression and more reliability with the best alt being a billet head
...why not just mill your stock head instead for $50 or whatever it is
......dont have to chance blowing your motor
......You'll actually get 20 or 30psi increase instead of .439874932723474..7%
I've been accused of going the cheap way before, but this is insane
you'll be happy with any SuperJet you get, a 701 is always better if avail.....I may have a superjet coming for sell in the very near future if your interested
Not really.
You make me sick!
I'm still learning to paint two colors(no masking) with my airbrush. Too bad I dont have any artistic talent and can only do camo schemes on model planes.
Come to think of it i suck at everything at life
:slap:
Why would he be at 9000RPMs at low speed. If his prop is spinning at 9000rpms in air...he needs to be off the throttle anyway after leaving the water
The STOCK motor is two powerful for that prop.......You'll feal an increase form all your powermods...sure. But you's only be getting 1/2 or less of that power.
The impeller is night and day..even bigger diff on built motors
It's the thought of buying something thats not increasing real power.....but when you feel your current power actually make it to the water its like BAM!
Your boat will have better handling/topspeed/bottom end punch/hook up in rough water.
Come up with a basic idea of your motor and buy a impeller....Are you going basic bolt on or wild?
What your doing is building a big engine for a car....and running 2 inch wide tires.
The stock impeller is HORRIBLE!!! It's hard to imagine but one of the best mods is the impeller.....it...
Actually, using older plugs with carbon is a better choice because they will turn easier then having to wait for new plugs to darken.
If your running stock setup with b pipe FP has the jettings required on their site
Completely diff...rode them back to back...the diffrence is huge
Its more so the programmable curve and the really really light flywheel.....good revs and killer curve
your rev limiter has nothing to do with your prop spin on take off....your not getting near it.
I think its all in your head...its been slipping all along and you just noticed when testing out new parts...it happens tot he best of us
