6M6 head on a 61X to bump up compression?

...why not just mill your stock head instead for $50 or whatever it is

......dont have to chance blowing your motor
......You'll actually get 20 or 30psi increase instead of .439874932723474..7%

I've been accused of going the cheap way before, but this is insane

It was a roundie with the stock blue on top, little to no graphics, and florescent orange below the bond line. The orange is obviously what you'd remember the ski by.

Wasteland: I personally see no problem with going cheap if it's effective. I'm starting to get the impression this idea wouldn't be.

Theres nothign wrong with going cheap, but cutting corners by putting your motor at risk when a better alt would be to mill your head that would provide more compression and more reliability with the best alt being a billet head

The lower exhaust port height of the 650 makes its cylinder volume nearly the same as a 61x/701, the combustion chamber volume is also similar between the two.
