mine would not fit OEM carb air boxes.... mostly because between the boyeson (sp) intake manifold and the Thrust carb adapters I am running (also running FS 49mm carbs) they set up too tall and hit the hood seal lip. I cut up an OEM single carb box, then used plastic weld to fabricate a mold...

I've seen that before when I was using translucent fuel lines. I never an issue with it. I'm back to oem fuel line so I don't get to see the fire anymore...
