I ran a 148 Solas Mag for a season.... then changed to an H2O Designs 148 for the second half 2013. Ended up selling my Solas. The H2O Designs pump has much better hook up in the surf IMO.
I think a few guys rode my FootRocket in Daytona last year with this pump and were pretty happy with it.
looks good bro. I just modded mine out after buying over Thanksgiving. I did the trigger relocation... the only thing I don't like about it is you have to run Saiga magazines or install a bullet guide to accept standard AK mags.
All it all, it's a fun gun though.
Mine is 7.62x39
I've shoveled around a dozen times to keep the patio cleared so my dog can go out...
I'll be climbing up on the roof of my shed, garage and (when I can make it there) my beach house to get some of the snow off before the weekend. It's supposed to be in the 50's and rain saturday and sunday...
I bet bro. I lived in San Diego many years ago... and spent a few months living in El Segundo just 4 years ago... I was shocked at the home prices compared to here. Guess we can't give houses to people to come live here... LOL
yes, it sucks.
Army National Guard is now in town helping to dig out. The sun is out here now, but round two is expected to start up later this evening. Ran out to survey the area, stopped at Timmy Ho's for Coffee (they were closed) but ran into a carload of stranded Canadian girls trying to...
Sunset Bay Beach Club and Cabanna Sams is an awesome place. Problem - 1. Different county and the county sheriff dept patrols there all summer. They ticket jetskiers all day long every weekend and 2. That bay is full of boats and swimmers and there is no way to carve out a section of water...
i'm in for an old school freeride somewhere between Buffalo and Syracuse for a late summer weekend. Old school... just a bunch of riders hanging out, ridin, drinking beers (I'll tent camp for sure).
we will certainly miss hosting the event this year... Brian and Drew do a killer job of organizing the event, and the rest of the team goes above and beyond to ensure a great, safe and fun event.
Perhaps next year...
I ran a 144 skat mag with no issues. My 148 H2O Designs fits in perfect with nearly a 1/4" gap between the tray and the top of the pump housing.
Are you using a billet or welded one? Looks welded from the pics.
