i never really got a stock bore 800 to run that well, the big bores with nice carbs and msd run very well. However it just wasn't that fun in a lightweight hull, I really enjoy the power in a larger ski.

i wouldnt put a 66e in a fx1.

I personally have had many watercraft parts fail (hulls, motors, handlepoles,electrics, etc), I understand that parts break, but i also feel the manufacturer needs to stand behind their products. Hulls are big money, with a little more risk than some of the other parts. IMO hulls need some...

wont fit, flywheel has same taper but pickup plate is on the front cover on a gp800 and on the cases on a 62t

motor ran very very well for about 5 mins....... then it broke a piston in half. The reason i liked it so well is it rev'd much faster than my other 66e motor. I can blame the failure to several reasons, but the biggest factor was the cast pro-x piston. Cast pistons weren't up to the new...

yes, same as on the 1000cc too. the drypipe chambers are slightly different between the 800 and 1000 versions . I've never ridden anything so finely dialed as the 1000cc version, pipe has to be a big part of it.

i'd love to get ahold of one of those chambers also. Let me know if you have any luck.

the demo 800 i rode at the wf had a composite plate, really thick. must be a new product.

eme 800's have a custom composite motor plate sitting on kawi mounts, i don't think they are in the stock locations though, motor looks set back
