I believe the xmw lowered bracket will clear the stock hood. I ran a similar bracket that cleared stock hood but mine was 24/7 I believe but they look real close.

Bilge pump, dielectric grease on electrical connectors and silicone lube, basically protect electrical connectors, salt water can be a nightmare. Limiting rope and hood straps prevent damage as well.

RRP cast pole and Cold Fusion billet steering, if your Octane uses Yamaha type steering, has taken plenty of abuse thus far.

It's hard to tell in that picture but it's normally just wrapped out of the way, cut at the grommet, or disconnected and replaced with an ocd solutions bilge wiring harness. Can you unwrap it so we can see the whole thing, from the grommet?

Your Ada head doesn't have the overheat sensor spot on it like the stock head, that is why it is disconnected.

Freeride? Just ride your ski. I'm assuming surf when you say freeride. Bpipe and head like mentioned above you'll be surprised how much fun you can have in the surf with those mods, assuming surf again.

Will you be using a hitch hauler or trailer? I have a short bed and a standard length Sj the tailgate has to be down. I believe you can close it on the standard bed. Hitch hauler solved that issue for me if it is for longer hauls with the tailgate up
