Yeah it's a little long. I have it going through the left tube still. Not sure what pic you're referring to. I'm running it under the b pipe along the left side.
Just make sure the bolts don't bottom out through the plate into the hull. I used different length bolts for the front and back mounts due to the front having engine keepers. You can use nylon nuts underneath or some loc tite whichever you prefer. You'll see it firsthand when you go to assemble...
Keep track of the parts as in? Yeah I assembled every part in there.
Anything I'd do differently? Not really, it's super dialed in. I tried a few new parts out. Curious to see how they hold up after putting a beat down on it!
Spark plug wrench. Mandatory in each boat if you ride our spot. It's a long tow back if your sh it sinks. Much easier to get it going on the beach and keep riding.
Setup my RRP water box with some Hydroturf so it doesn't rub out and vibrate
All new oem motor mounts. Freeride innovations engine keepers. All clean oem hardware out of donor sitdowns. The motor is aligned and installed. Polished up the head shell quick.
Setup my electrical box above my...
The ski/ride plate comes with the bevel head Allen key ride plate bolts.

For the pump it is the same pitch. I got new bolts that were a different length

Fast dry 5200. I could have used plexus or the fast setting epoxy TC uses but I've always used 5200 and it works well.
I wouldn't recommend using rtv or regular silicone

I made it my priority over my other interests! Sold off some other toys, got rid of the girlfriend, stopped going out to bars etc..
I work as much as I can and ride as much as I can.
Time well spent!
In all reality this sport is cheaper than many other motor sports. Unless you're really...
That's just 4 bolts for 10$. They have another kit where they give you some Bullsh it 2 part epoxy you can get at a local hardware store.
You could use those ufo mounts @JetManiac sells and some real epoxy and cut out smaller holes then just patch it back up
