i toook it out today and it still ran like ******** with different carbs and the protec head. i took it out of the no wake zone and i hopped the ski a little and it took off and rode like normal after half RPM then as sooon as i let off the throttle and let it idle down and tried to grab the...

alrite, i put the head on, and as expected it sounded the same as ussual. SOoooo i put my protec sbns that are jetted at 70/140 and it didnt sound like it was missing under full throttle. it felt much better.

measurement from top of port to cylinder is 37 which i belive is within range for a ported cylinder? am i correct?

i am going to measure the top of the exaust port to the top of the cylinder also
