chris i wouldnt worry. there are a lot of factors reguarding comprression in a newly assembled motor. Did you use any type of lube on the rings and bore? if it is dry the compression could be lower. Put it in and run it and the numbers should even out. did the motor have a fresh hone and...

if it clicks make sure it is not the solynoid, bad battery or the engine is locked up first. all are much easier to check then the starter

you ever try the older model specialized enduro? you should give it a try. amazing bike and you can pick up a complete used one with great components for under 1000!! i think 05 and older is the frame style. amazing amazing bike!

both of those issues are resolved by using longer rods

I have a fly x short backflip hull with an oem fuel tank with an internal fuel fill sitting in my garage right now.

the OEM tank with internal fuel fill WILL fit an xft hull.I have used this in every xft hull i have owned and every style ski he has made.
