A power valve Dasa should be alive when the valves are down. If it's not something is wrong .

Super Jet RN SJ -2" Fast Elements, DASA, Skat Mag, Cold Fusion Build up

I've had the best luck running 1 line to the motor and bypassing all overboard , running the other line to the pipe , feeing off to the stinger through a flow valve . Water out of pipe overboard .Cold water to pipe means it takes less water through the bleed holes to cool it so it's running...

    650/X-2 Dyna S Ignitions?

That one has the automatic cutoff module so it won't burn the coil if you don't hit the kill switch . There is no timing curve with them . You set the timing at whatever you want and that's what you get at all rpms . Used to run that on 550s until Msd total loss came out in 92 . MSD was so...

Other If you built your own ski, what would you build

Yep , I always thought the Fx1 had a good hood . Had one of the 1st Fx1s made and rode it for a year in 94 . It felt like a cadilac after riding 550s for 10 years

SXR dasa top end kit need feedback

Got a couple of short breakin runs with it Sunday . Very nice power delivery .Will run it hard this weekend . Can't wait to get one of these in my Superjet . Will probably go 8 mil stroker on it . These motors take a while to get and you have to be patient . It's worth the wait .

Got 2 sets of domes . Just decided to go with the smaller sleeves . Its a bouy /freeride ski and I think it will have plenty of power . Its got a few oversizes and will end up somewhere around 850 . Can also resleeve it later with bigger sleeves if I decide I want to .

SXR dasa top end kit need feedback

No doubt powervalves have to have room to fully lift and have a little room to spare . I am sure it is possible on this SXR setup . Maybe not in all cases . I see some differences in my manifold and smrbums and the cylinder is also slightly different . The upper bolt holes on mine had to be...

SXR dasa top end kit need feedback

Been grinding on manifold . Removed forward mounting boss that was not used by this wetpipe to help exhaust chamber fitment . Also did some grinding where the chamber/headpipe connection gets to close to manifold due to spacer between manifold and headpipe . I think I am going to be able to run...

Freestyle who makes the lightest pole??

Even with a spring the weight is still there . It may hold itself up but handling is still being effected by a top heavy ski . Especially if you have one of those 48 lb hulls with a 20lb Rick Roy pole .

Best Li-Fe battery I have seen so far

I've had good luck so far with Ballistic batteries in 2 skis . Been running a 12 cell in Hydrospace and an 8 cell in Superjet . They seem to be well made with a solid case . I keep the terminals coated with Buster .Modified the stock battery box in the Hydro . For the superjet , glued layers of...
