Has anyone been able to modify a Dasa cast cylinder to take the newer LO profile power valves ?

A power valve Dasa should be alive when the valves are down. If it's not something is wrong .

Got a couple of short breakin runs with it Sunday . Very nice power delivery .Will run it hard this weekend . Can't wait to get one of these in my Superjet . Will probably go 8 mil stroker on it . These motors take a while to get and you have to be patient . It's worth the wait .

Got 2 sets of domes . Just decided to go with the smaller sleeves . Its a bouy /freeride ski and I think it will have plenty of power . Its got a few oversizes and will end up somewhere around 850 . Can also resleeve it later with bigger sleeves if I decide I want to .

Been grinding on manifold . Removed forward mounting boss that was not used by this wetpipe to help exhaust chamber fitment . Also did some grinding where the chamber/headpipe connection gets to close to manifold due to spacer between manifold and headpipe . I think I am going to be able to run...

Even with a spring the weight is still there . It may hold itself up but handling is still being effected by a top heavy ski . Especially if you have one of those 48 lb hulls with a 20lb Rick Roy pole .

I have an SXR Dasa top end being made and should have it next week . It is a stock stroke ,powervalve setup , and will be using it with factory pipe wetpipe . Cant wait to get started putting it together . Have no doubts it will run well once I get the right jets in the carbs.
