At least he doesn't like 5-10 tricks before any bows or fist pumps. A lot of other guys are the exact opposite. I like watching the Asian guys though. Their intensity is insane.

Super Jet what is the bolt size for yamaha start stop switch mount?

I have good news for you... An M5 screw has the a diameter of 0.190" and a #10 screw has a diameter of 0.197". #10-32 has 32 threads per inch which is 64 threads on a 2 inch screw. An M5x.8 has a pitch of .8mm per thread which over a distance of 2 inches 63.5 threads. That's basically the same...

Other good deal on inspection camera

I think the one from harbor freight is just a hair too wide to fit in the spark plug hole. I'd bet a slight shave on each side would make it fit. The one linked above will definitely work.

Super Jet what is the bolt size for yamaha start stop switch mount?

Go to home depot on your way home and pick up some 10-32 bolts. I want to say those are the appropriate size off the top of my head and they are $1 a bag for SS screws. Maybe pick up 1.5" and 2". If you're wrong, you're only out $2 and 5 minutes.

Other good deal on inspection camera

I bought the one that Harbor Freight sells. Every now and then they have a coupon that will bring the price down to $70-$80. Makes finding those lost bolts you dropped in the engine bay easier to find. The one HF sells has a slightly larger camera head on it though which may not be as good for...

    Super Jet disadvantages of flatdecking?

It's harder to mount the ski if you fall off because you don't have anything to brace your elbows on. You will have a quick session of relearning to ride because your stance will be wider and you'll have to weight your feet differently in turns than what you're used to. There is an increased...

    Custom/Hybrid Zw-e.f.i.

Dude if you can make it work on any two stroke ski, there are plenty of people on here that will be willing to adapt it to work on another ski/engine combo from a different brand. If this only works with dry pipes then that's all the more reason to swap over. Everyone says the dry pipes...

Other What is everyone sealing their MSD TOTAL LOSS systems in?

Retail for the total loss system from JEGS is $1080. Like I keep saying... I understand the jetski industry doesn't sell mass quantities so they have to have a higher markup to stay in business but at what point does a jetski supplier cross the line between making a profit and gouging the ever...

Other What is everyone sealing their MSD TOTAL LOSS systems in?

I know jetski parts isn't a massive money making business but at some point I think these guys need to step back and rethink about their pricing plans. Sell 1 vs sell 20-30. Between this and the flowguard, maybe we should create a thread about which jetski part is the biggest ripoff...might last...

Other What is everyone sealing their MSD TOTAL LOSS systems in?

There are a few guys who have sealed their MSD systems in everything from custom containers to simple Pelican or Plano waterproof cases. The problem is always how to seal up the wires coming out of the case and do you want to put just the brain or everything inside. Technically...the MSD is...

FW Flips, Helmet or no Helmet?

I've heard people saying that falling at high speeds and having the helmet catch water like a bucket would be dangerous. Although it sounds bad, it doesn't really do that because your head is in the way preventing the whole bucket thing from happening.

    Surfriding Replacement throttle cable suggestions?

Another option is the Jetmaniac big bore throttle cable. It's like a kawi throttle cable. He sells them really cheap. Can't believe it took as long as it did and countless finger pricks to replace my fraying throttle cable.

Super Jet Fluid in the ehuast manifold normal?

Every engine I've disassembled has that oily liquid in the exhaust. I consider it normal.

Super Jet Ground vs coil vs bad TL channel problem

You could disconnect one of your coils completely and the engine will sound like it's revving quickly because the one cylinder has enough grunt when it's not under load. When you're in the water, you need that second cylinder... Don't those brains have 3 channels? Couldn't you just use the two...

Super Jet which epoxy resin from uscomposites.

I typically use 3:1 just because it's a little more user friendly and slightly thinner as well. The 4:1 doesn't cure fast enough that I'm going to repair something and get back out on the water the same day but it sets up fast enough that it might gel on me before I'm finished. If you're in a...

Freestyle Superjet backfiring through exhaust after enigine install.

Your ski backfired twice and you're ready to throw it...really? I wouldn't say backfiring is normal but I also wouldn't put it in the serious risk category either. If I pump too much gas through the primer, it'll backfire every time. Happens to me more times than I want to count... Excess fuel...

Super Jet Ground vs coil vs bad TL channel problem

I've never had a plug not work when it gets hot. It either works or doesn't from my experience and I killed a lot of plugs last year from an airleak that I realized I had over the winter.
