Started ordering some more stuff. XMetal footholds, aluminum tubing for the exhaust and cooling lines and some stainless bar stock to make inserts for the gas tank, waterbox and battery tray. Still need to get some plexus, foam and more biax but Im going to try like hell to finish up the hull...
Nothing yet. Another hobby and a couple vacations robbed me of the funds that I had set aside for the last of the materials I need. I'm going to try getting those materials ordered in the next couple weeks and maybe put in the hours through september to get it finished up.
I still have the sectioned portion of the front rail that I can use to make a mold for a fresh one. Then I was thinking I could add a lip and bolt it right to the hull if I end up needing it.
Forgot about this over the past couple weeks. Held some cash aside to pick up another ski for the time being, but then I decided it would just be a distraction from finishing this thing so I'm back at it again. Still need to pick up some more biax and I think I'm going to get an xmetal pole now...

I had did some reading a while back on the kits that a lot of racers are using to make their custom seats. They listed the favorable ratio for foam vs epoxy in the info that I saved. Ill have to dig it up, Ive really been thinking about experimenting with this to see how it would go.
edit - I...
Finally cleaned my garage then did some more cuts in the bottom deck and sectioned the rail up front. I'm liking this shape much more and might finalize it at this. Any other opinions? There is a bit of an underbite and the bottom deck hangs out a little more than the top deck, but I'm thinking...
