Blaster What is this 1993 blaster1 worth?

Most stock-ish waveblasters run from 1000-1500. But, never hurts to ask whatever you want. They are getting harder and harder to come by, especially one that is in good shape. SM

Super Jet Etching paint for cases cylinders?

If your cases are blasted with a high grit media, you can paint them with straight atuo body paint that has a separate hardener without the primer. It will hold up great, better than powder. SM

Blaster 200 HP Carbon Fibre Blaster with 155mm Pump

That 340 number was without battery, fuel, oil. Stock mats, steering, intake, rideplate, prop, stock exhaust, single intake, carb, etc. It is possible that they were that light in the crate, but never on the water. My carbon/kevlar/S glass race blaster with lightweight hood came in at 390...

Updated: got a 26" full susp. instead of 29"

That is what happened to me. I was about to drop 1500 in parts on my existing ride, only to think myself out of it because no matter what, it would never be in the weight range I was after. So, I sold it and upgraded to a carbon frame. I don't do a lot of jumping, so I want as light as I can...

LOL, I know how you feel. Mountain bikes might be worse than friggin skis. SM

    Blaster 1100 Blaster?!?!?!

That's only if you use the 98 and above, those used the CV style carbs, and they are basically paper weights. I don't even think they would make good paper weights. Set up right, the kawi makes more power than the yamaha. Look at it this way, the kawi is basically a stroked, flat topped...

    Blaster 1100 Blaster?!?!?!

The kawi fits in there like it was meant to be there. Plus, the pipe can be dried out easily for rpm, comes with flat tops already and the ignition is easily converted to advance timing with a 60 buck plate. The one advantage to the GP1200 motor is that it comes with 44s from the factory...

Blaster 200 HP Carbon Fibre Blaster with 155mm Pump

Concerning your fuel tank issues. Have you ever thought about building a tank that will fit behind the firewall like an HX? We had been talking about that to open up the entire engine compartment for different triples. Not sure it would be freestyle friendly, but Rpot's mod hulls back in the...

    Blaster 1100 Blaster?!?!?!

The kawi might be kawacrappie, but set up right, it makes more power. Plus, with the RAD Dudes plate, no glass work. But, to each his own. Both are going to stomp all over a 701 twin unless you have one heck of a motor. SM

    Blaster Carbon blaster

Rick Pott made the original all carbon hulls, wammer then copied them and made them out of s-glass, carbon and kevlar. SM

    Other Who does powdercoating???

Local prices have been outrageous. Shipping wouldn't be that bad, without carbs, intake, crank and top end, it really isn't that heavy. SM

    Other Who does powdercoating???

Anyone out there want to hook a brotha up with some inexpensive powder coating? I need to have a complete Kawi 1100 motor - 2 case halves, cylinder, complete exhaust - done in either gloss or flat black. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Might have some stuff to trade as well...

thinking about a new ( for me) bike.....

The Gary Fishers are awesome bikes. You won't be disappointed at all! I feel you on the riding. I rode Thursday, Friday and Sunday last week. Two days it was in the 60s, one day it was in the low 40s, lol. But, when the sun is out, you have to take advantage of it. We are getting...

thinking about a new ( for me) bike.....

I love Specialized, but Trek makes a really nice bike, and if your brother works at a bike shop and can get you deals, for a little over a grand, you can get a really nice 29 hardtail that should last you for years. Most of the major players make good frames, so check out the components...

My New Ride - all carbon Cannondale

So, I go into my lbs today to pick up some odds and ends. I get to talking to one of the techs and he mentions they just got in a new stumpy sworks fsr29. Ok, I knew they were nice, but never actually seen one in person. This thing was d@mn near as lite as my carbon road bike. I couldn't...
