Sounds nice, until you wake up at 5:15 am in a tent that is probably 120 degrees inside because the sun has been baking you inside of it.
Trust me you DO NOT want to tent it. A buddy of mine did one year even though we offered to have him stay with us. He got zero sleep and had a miserable time...
you DO NOT want to tent camp. It will be miserable, i guarantee it. Try to find a house to rent for a few days with some friends, that is always the most economical and comfortable choice. the ability to just put your trailer in a garage and not worry about it is nice. We rent a house for 2...
The Farrell Fab cart works very well. Locally made (for us NW people) and it is the simplest cart to use when loading solo or getting a ski from off the ground/sand
I'm going to bet that you have the r&d intake grate. They are made to work with the r&d rideplate specifically but you can just cut the little lip off and use them with any rideplate. Stupid design by r&d imo, more of a marketing thing than a functionality thing.
I have a silver 38mm intake manifold and a silver diverted exhaust manifold from a 1992 650 engine.
$65 shipped for both items. I also have the oem.flamwrong arrestor for the 38mm carb I'd toss in for another $10
id be willing to bet that the issue is either with the coil or cdi. Both were replaced with far inferior off-brand parts that have no solid reputation at all. Get out a multimeter and test them
I apologize if I am coming across as a dick..I've been in the same position (we were all 16 once..) and looking back I made some poor decisions on these types of matters. We're just.trying to steer you in the right direction not because it.simply costs more, but because it is actually a much...
Emphasis on "sometimes". That depends on how well you value your time and if you are capable of producing work that is of adequate strength and quality. Motor mounts are a very critical part of a build, especially when you are supplying 1/3 more power over the existing components. Imo, now is...
Funny what people will do. Spend a dollar to save a dime.
Just get the plates. It is not worth the time and money to basically make-up your own motor mounts and then locate them in the hull.
I would recommend looking at the resting tension of the cable. It should be like a throttle cable with a tiny bit of slop so when you aren't using the trim there isn't and constant force being put on the cable.
I've had my drop nozzles set up for several years using Skat trak cables and have...
Kommander is definitely able to get them from somewhere. I imagine it wouldn't be a wise business decision to purchase new yamaha sitdowns just to yard the motor out for the k1's but who knows? Maybe they have a bether source on them. They are a yamaha dealer too..
I had a KTM smr450 supermoto bike for several years. Absolutely loved it. Sold it last year and I shouldn't have. I'm not sure a yz250 on the street is the best or easiest thing to ride around on (from a ride ability standpoint) but it would be cool nonetheless.
Supermoto bikes are way...
On the cylinder it depends on what you want too do with the ski. If you want to build a limited that will work well for a race here and there then i would recommend finding a standard bore cylinder, either new or used, and running it. If you want to build an all out competitive 2 stroke limited...
Do not T your pulse line fittings. You need independent/seperate pulse signals to each carb. You can drill your cases and press in an additional pulse fitting for the front cylinder. It is very common, give it a search.
