Man, this is a can of worms cause everyone has their own opinions. Many people run 40:1, some builders say 32:1, other say 50:1. I will say, if you stay with 50:1, use a good quality oil like some of the racing stuff, or Amsoil Dominator or Interceptor.

I was just saying that worse case, I could slap sleeves in mine for about $400. No need to buy a cyl. Now if I had a 750 engine, your cyl would make sense to get better port timing. But since I have a good cyl, its actually cheaper to go up to 84mm than down to 82.

650 manifold won't work. On the 750 and only the 750, the 3 bolt pattern is rotated clockwise probably 15 degrees. You need a replacement 750 FP manifold.

Don't overlook the SXR as a rec ski. I like mine, wish it was lighter, but I like the ride and power. My riding is just for fun. I hate racing or buoy running. Its definitely the best stock hull I've ridden.
