Thanks! Up on the dash there isn't much room to tuck the turf under the rails, but along the tray there is more room so you can tuck some under. On the dash I found it is easiest to glue it down while leaving a little extra on the sides and then go back and trim it with a razor blade flush...
I bought an O'Neill Boost drysuit for those 40-50-60 degree days in the Winter for Houston. Water temps get into the low 50's but of course we don't have very cold weather compared to most of the country. Either way, if I'm going out I'm going to be comfortable and dry!

This link is a good read, and most of the hoses are labeled...only thing different is I probably would just tee the main line and send a smaller amount of water from it into the top of the exhaust, and then tee the bypass from the head to plug in...
I know there are some nice gains with the wetpipe and flywheel, but I always read the stock SXR prop was pretty good. What do you suggest looking into for a prop?
Thanks bro...yeah I need to take some better pics...I have a freakin' Nikon D700 upstairs and I am always taking pics with my washed up cell phone. Once I am done and clean up a little in the garage I'll take some good pics. I have read a few conflicting threads of how to install a flow...
Just got into stand up's at the end of this summer and since I have two now, I figured I would pull in the 09 SXR and dress her up a bit. So far I have re-turfed the tray and I did the side rails too. Both of those jobs were pretty easy. I ended up buying a SXR pre-cut turf kit from Ebay and...
My grate magically appeared on my doorstep today. Time to call the credit card company and reverse the disputed charge. What a hassle...Oh well, at least in the end I got what I wanted, a new worx 222 for $130 shipped.
What a coincidence, I just bought an SXR worx intake grate and the seller shipped it USPS and it said delivered yesterday but I don't have it. Mail came again today and nothing. Called them and they gave me a case number but said I'm probably s o l. Called credit card company and explained...
Haha dream on! lol...The MAIN reason I have two is so that I can enjoy being out there with a friend and the SXR is much easier to ride for the inexperienced rider. Plus, while out there I think that we would be doing similar stuff riding around, so I was just hoping to make the SXR a little...
I see your point and I have considered that, but I just don't really have an interest in carving at all right now...but I do know the SXR can be setup more playful and thats all I'm looking for. I dont have any unrealistic expectations for it...I know its heavy. Just a little more loose, laid...
Thanks, that is also good information. I will do a search on the best way to install and setup the flow control valve.
I know the R&D grate I have now is pretty aggressive...it really puts on the brakes when you let off the throttle too much.
For now, I can get it to slide some but not...
I have done the timing advance...That combined with a stubby cone made a good difference. Whats the trick to drying out the water box?
Another reason I asked about the grate is because I read in an old thread someone mentioned an aggressive intake grate can actually suck the hull down too...
The Superjet is awesome...It feels completely different than the SXR. Very nimble and powerful, easy to jump out of the water with. I prefer it best if I only had to have one ski but the SXR rides so smooth I have no plans to get rid of it. In fact I just came in from riding it just now.
Thanks, I have the stock ride plate but the previous owner did not have the stock intake grate. I bet I can find a stock intake grate for cheap, but is there anything better for this purpose?
