    Replacing all top-end gaskets

Right on, thanks for the advice. I can see fuel/oil leaking from the base gasket that connects the two cases.

    Adjusting Steering so it's straight

I think you have a valid point though. Your torque is going to vary as you ride, but the pump veins are static. There has to be some degree of torque induced roll.

    Adjusting Steering so it's straight

I thought the pump veins were designed to mitigate this effect on jet skis.

    Replacing all top-end gaskets

So, my PP 550 developed an air leak last summer, and I could see a couple areas where fuel/oil were leaking from the engine due to gasket failure. I think that the gaskets had probably dried out and failed after 25 years. My hope is that a set of new gaskets will stop my ski from doing its...

Super Jet i need a silent pipe HELP

Are you still running the stock impeller? Upgrading to a Hooker 9/15 will make a big difference and will be no louder. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 07 SJs still had the aluminum impeller.

    1990 superjet stock bilge ?????

Exactly- that's the connection I thought the white arrow was covering up. The one of the opposite side of the reduction nozzle is supposed to go to the water spout, no?

    1990 superjet stock bilge ?????

In the pic you posted, you ran the bilge line to the connection that is covered up by the white arrow you drew, yes? I just want to make sure I'm understanding things correctly. The other connection, going out toward the back of the ski, would just get plugged up, right? I believe it is supposed...

Any one play with pricing at amazon?

This was true when I tested it in 2006. You could check a flight on one computer, and watch the price go up by the hour. If you logged in with another computer from a different IP, you'd get the original, lower price. I'm not sure if they still behave like this though.

    How should I spend $250

My plan is to keep that motor and transplant it into my JS550 I totally hate the stock pole, but AM poles seem so expensive. No reinforce the has been done, but I do have a slam pad!

    How should I spend $250

I have a 91 SJ with a 650 in it. My plan is to eventually swap it with a bigger motor, and drop the 650 into my JS 550. I don't want to invest anything into the 6m6 motor at this time. For this ride season, I have $250 to spend, and I'd like to know how you think I should spend the money! Right...

I saw one in NC this summer with one of the few B-Pipes that were made for it.

I get to build a silencer!!!!

I shot a full auto MP5 a few years ago. Frankly, it wasn't especially quiet, but the added weight of the suppressor helped to reduce some of the muzzle climb. I've been told that suppressors "wear out" over time and lose efficacy due to build-up that is impossible to clean up after use. Since...

No matter what a sit down rider tells you, never ride two dudes on a couch.

"If the seller says, "it has carb issues," it really means they have no idea what's wrong with the motor."

    What happened to Mikesee?

I think he simply lost interest in the X when he finally succumbed to reality that flipping a ski costs thousands of dollars and lots of practice. Or, maybe his bubble burst when people convinced him that you can't install a pu55y magnet on a standup. I miss his cheeky snark.

Custom/Hybrid Wasserjet, Rotary Engine teaser video

No, I'd imagine that there will still be a ton of aftermarket exhaust options. Think of how many performance exhaust systems exist for cars. You're right about the expansion chambers though. Four stroke motors are efficient when it comes to fuel burning, so they won't benefit from the sonic...

    Coffmans pipe questions

I went with the 2.0 n/s and jetting specs that the Coffman instructions suggested. It runs strong, but that's just with me tuning it myself. I really need to get someone else to fine tune it properly.
