    I'm running a very similar setup to you, been running the same WSM dampner for years. OEM is better quailty, but with perfect alignment, should last a long time.

    You probably havent rode the right a/m hull, eme is towards the bottom of my list, but I've been on many different a/m hulls. Your be able to run what ever engine you want, but you may be disappointed in the gain since itll be so held back.

    I'd be more worried about the small tunnel then the weight. BUT a carbon hull with a big tunnel will make that engine feel like it has a whole lot more HP. If it was me, I would get a new/used hull before I spent 10k on a new engine package. Bigger motor may be a bit of a waste on that current...

    Yes 150 uses same housing as 148. Your 148 may of not been tuned right, a lot too getting a pump dialed in perfect. Or it just didnt work well with your small pump tunnel. 150 setback would be the ticket. But your small pump tunnel will be holding it back.

    I'd run a 148 pump/shoe before you upgrade, or do it all at the same time. You can drive anything with a smaller pump, your just not getting it's full potential. I have a mint 148 mag pump with fresh bearings/seals for sale..

    Just looked, for the price of the 10mil xs 1000 you can get a et 16mil 1200. A lot more motor and it's a little cheaper.

    Dont hear of people buying xs1000. Really depends on your budget. Dasa 950 is a good option. Or 1105/7 or 1200 16mil if you can swing it. Knowing xs, their 1000 is probably fine too, dont personally know anyone running one.

    Purple holes need time certs, red hole has a bolt broke off 1/2" down in the hole Top of cylinder was deck 4mm to work with flattop pistons only, will need to run flat top domes, ADA still makes them.
