If I want my roundnose sj to let less water get in when I am doing subs or fountain, I block the front holes and grind the back ones bigger? The things I want to know is if it really work and who bigger do I need to grind to make sure my engine can breathe easily?

I want to know how mm should I cut off my stock sj head to get approx 170 psi to run pump gas and to be safe about the distance between piston at TDC and the head? I heard we must mesure the squish when we mill head is that right? thanks!
