Anyone know where I can order a bilge mount for an 95 SXI. I know they are out there. Also, where does it mount too? Where does the mount position the bilge? All I can find online is mounts for the PRO.
I decided to leave in the engine in and clean around it. It's looking really nice. Magic Eraser, Simple Green, and 409 clean a hull very nice haha. I think the fumes got to me a bit. I pulled the gas tank to clean and get the sediment out of it. I left it outside last night and it rained in...
Pulled the fuel tank out tonight to clean it out and check the fuel lines. Front foam was surprisingly in great condition. The hull is in bad need of cleaning. I'm thinking since I have gone this far, to pull the engine and really clean in there.
Clean ski! I just picked up a 95 sxi this weekend in pretty rough condition. Engine is great, but body was moldy and all pads were rotted out. I'm right there with you redoing a ski. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/114647-Found-an-old-SXI
Where do you ride in KC?
Just ordered some stuff from Blowsion. I ended up going footstraps. I used them before in my SJ and loved them. Also a bit of a money saver. I should be able to turf the ski and put those straps in this weekend.
Thanks, but that's already been done. I'm gonna spend this weekend re turfing and cleaning the ski. I am gonna pull the gas tank and check all of the fuel lines. Also, might look into the carbs and make sure everything is in order.
Purchased an SXI this weekend. Stock....too stock. The poor thing has not ran in about five years. This is my first SXI so I would love some tips, pointers, suggestions, ect.
I have been looking for a ski to start riding again, and some guy just emailed me this.
I think they could get bought for $1000.00. He says they run great. Both are 88's. One has a 750 head, but other than that, all stock. Worth it?
I was going to adjust the carbs on my 2007 SJ today and when I took off the hood and looked at my carbs, I noticed that the carbs did not have anything to adjust. Does anyone know how to adjust the carbs on a stock 2007 sj?
Thanks. I always changed out the ride plates on my sit downs. I am looking for a good freestyle plate. I thought I wanted one for more control at fast speeds, but I think I am wanting to go with a free style plate. I thought about cutting a D in my stock or going the WORX freestyle plate...
I am in the market to purchase a new ride plate for my 07 superjet. Any suggestions? I am wanting a good freestyle plate. Anyone use the WORX freestyle plate with the "D" in the middle of the plate? Any suggestions or ideas would be apprecatied.
Thanks for your reply on my post today. I am new to the world of stand ups. I have ridin sit downs for years and just got bored. Any tips you could give me on the SJ would be greatly appreciated.
I am new to riding stand ups. I took the SJ out today and leaned forward when I would go straight. It helped out a lot. Thanks everyone. Yamaslut, I like your post. I road that ********er like I owned it.
I recently purchased an 07 superjet that is bone stock. What would be the best ride plate/intake grate to buy to help the ski go fast in a straight line. When I get to going full speed, the ski just wants to jump out of the water. Any thoughts?
