on pwctoday.com there's jetskiheaven who has a 300 js kerker or mariner pipe he might sell.that would be a nice addition to this boat along with a 440 pump and 15* impeller and the 38mm carb per wedo.
yeap,timing was off and motor started in reverse.seen it before and ususally trashes the stator but you may be lucky.pull off and find out.
looks like it was welded before as well.old trick for reinforcement but odds are your crank isn't too straight either.
a lot of deto doesn't happen at higher rpm's.it usually occurs during peak torque at maximum cylinder filling.
your calculated c/r could mislead you as the expansion chamber(depending on rpm) also helps to stuff charge into the cylinder thereby increasing cylinder pressure although c/r seems...
try to get a 440 or 550 at least.the 300 were grossly underpowered but very reliable.go fast parts are almost non existant these days for them as well so it'll be hard to make it keep up with your riding needs.
if a js 300,you could then drop a 440 or 550 motor in it a later date.
you have to drill the headpipe.if you inject thru the screw,you'll never be able to remove the system as the hole will be too large for a screw to seal.
i'm confident trinity's product is top notch and looking forward to seeing it first hand sometime soon.
as far as other maker's hulls cracking,some did admit to it and tried to rectify the situation early on but it is one of those you get what you pay for kind of deal.
