do not discard the oem bilge system.add another line to the pump.
usually opening the stock alloy line does the trick.heel,some s/s skis only ran one 1/2 line and worked fine.
on your 85 550 you need a 86 up manifold for the 44 sbn to bolt up.
i'll look for one here but they are plentifull.
odds are you're going to need a manifold spacer to space the carb from the cylinder or an aftermarket intake.
you can put a larger brass elbow on the pump and open up the alloy line at the ends as kawi restricted the flow.
look on the ends and you'll see what i'm talking about.
nice pipe but you need either a oem440 or aftermarket(prefered) exhaust manifold to make it work.
it looks like a short version.if so,expect to loose power as they didn't work all that well.
the stock jet power pipe works well with minor mods.
the a b c you're seeing is for the assembly plant so they may match pistons to the bore.
it just ensures better quality control.
it just means the bore is slightly different or maybe deck height.you're talking way less than a thousand here so negligable.
