What causes stator ground to fail?

I have yet to determine that the stator is not functioning because, like I said, the ground circuit has failed. Ski ran fine up until that point but due to a no ground situation it doesn't even crank, I think the rest of the stator function should be fine. I will likely not be just adding a...

What causes stator ground to fail?

Okay, I had forgotten what the back of a stator actually looked like, wasn't sure how it grounded out. Looking at one now and I am thinking that terminal may have broken or the stator could have come loose from the cases. Is there something else I may be missing?

What causes stator ground to fail?

Troubleshooting a blaster and the ebox ground from the stator is no longer grounding to the engine. I have not pulled the flywheel yet, what is the cause of this?

Did your buddy have a 155 in that SN?

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

I think the majority of people considering this are replacing a stock 144 so they already have a wear ring, impeller and nozzles.

So did you run this back to back with a stock 144 pump?

    Jetting Starting Point

I would start with what FP recommends. It sounds like you have a stock engine, might need to play with the screws a bit to compensate for elevation.

The new Wamilton's hood would look good with what you have done so far. https://www.wamiltons.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=810&zenid=2cc5b88cba0afcf527d680ac524b60a8

Nice work Serge! I like what you are doing with the nose, are you going to continue that theme anywhere else on the hull?

    Grinding Aluminum

Even with carbide bits designed for aluminum, you will have to keep them lubed or they can clog.

    am I missing something

Uses Kawasaki style clamps (and FHCS) that are threaded rather than yamaha style clamps that are clearance holes. You can buy them from Blowsion but could also probably get them cheaper used from somebodies Kawasaki parts bin. https://www.blowsion.com/handle-bar-clamps

WD-40 works in a pinch as well, get a buddy to stand there and spray it periodically while drinking a beer.

    Can carbs be run backward?

This question comes up like once a year and there is always people that are strongly for running the carbs pump side out, I don't believe it matters.

Super Jet Need help identifying sleeves!

Those pictures really look like they are OEM sleeves and are not a constant OD all the way down. There are many companies that sell new sleeves but if you are replacing OEM sleeves with aftermarket sleeves, you will likely have to bore the cylinder casting to accept the new sleeves and likely...

    Oil in my flywheel cover

I would be leaning more towards this if there was actually a "decent amount of oil" in there. Clean it up, inspect the seal to make sure it looks like it is properly seated then take it for a ride and see how it looks after.

Super Jet Need help identifying sleeves!

No but it sure doesn't look like your cylinder is stock. It is not out of the question that someone could have put 760 sleeves in there and matched the ports.
